No mention however of large numbers of Electric Vehicles burning because they got wet or even just while being charged. Also operators trapped in burning electric cars because now the windows would even work dur to the electric windows. Some even burned just because they were parked and it was training. It also had taken as much as 6 to 8 hours to put the fires out. The components are extremely hazardous waste. Weather can also knock many miles off what already wasn't a very good and greatly limited range. It seems the dangers to the use of Electric Vehicles has largely been concealed from the public but responses from even our local Fire Departments prove they are NOT safe to use far too often and if the batteries go it cost thousands of dollars to replace. Ford has discontinued producing Electric Vehicles. I'm NOT against research to develop more efficient vehicles but safety and practical use and range considerations have been ignored in favor of raking in the big money. Seems that is backfiring on them with a less than effective vehicle with very questionable safety issues. and limited travel range.

I feel for the rank and file who are going to be affected by this.

In all honesty, the entire board needs to be removed by the shareholders. They sided with a losing proposition and the corporation lost.
