I drop $500 a month on music lessons for two children and my son starts driving in May with a sure insurance increase. Kung Fu is another $150 a month plus whatever testing they need; 1st degree brown for my son was an additional $70. I stopped at two children because I knew I could afford two children well and not more. It is not that money is a big factor but wanting to provide well for my children is.
