I do believe Vance has family roots in Appalachia going back generations. Vance has a very compelling rags to riches story, so compelling Hollywood made a movie out of it. Vance demonstrated red necks are not stupid. Magna Cum Laude with duel majors from Ohio State. You think if Vance wore a mullet Democrats would buy his story ?
