Comedian from 'Anchorman' and 'Mr. Show' pleads guilty in Jan. 6 Capitol attack

Guilty to what? If he didn't attack police or damage property, he should walk.

J6 was not an insurrection; it was a plea for a tone deaf Congress to hear evidence of election fraud before confirming an Electoral College vote tainted with manipulated vote counts and mail-in ballot fraud. The FBI briefed there would be violence but never mentioned who was behind it because it was THEM!

I was there and very conspicuous was the lack of security. There were plenty enough police and National Guard present to prevent any incursion but Security SOP was not followed. SOP calls for a Security Fence to be erected around the Capitol any time there is an anticipated demonstration. Instead, all they had in place was easily moveable barriers sparsely covered by the police who likewise weren't posted in sufficient numbers at the entrances. Instead of protecting the building and preventing access they were milling about on the Capitol grounds as if waiting to be told what to do. The National Guard was left standing in the Parking Lots and was never called in to intervene -- even after things went South. Pelosi didn't want the National Guard there because they weren't read into her plan to frame Trump and his supporters for the violence the FBI and its actors instigated. I saw it with my own eyes and everything I knew about Security told me it was a trap -- that they wanted to make it easy for people to go into the Capitol. Police were moving barricades and waving people in. The body cam videos of Trump supporters begging police to stop those who were breaking windows while the police just stood there and did nothing were withheld from the public. Why? When the light of truth shines on what happened on J6, we will come to find out that Pelosi coordinated with the FBI and that the whole thing was a total setup.

When Trump gets re-elected, the J6 prisoners that simply walked in through open doors unopposed by the Capitol Police will be pardoned. Those who were behind the FBI Sting Op should be investigated and brought to justice. Not holding my breath that that will ever happen because our DOJ is so corrupt and our Congress likewise is corrupt and can't seem to get anything done. Our gov't is imploding under the weight of its own corruption and meanwhile, good men who swore an oath to protect and defend our Constitution do nothing and cheer the transformation of our government from a Constitutional Republic to a "Democratic" Socialist nanny welfare state.
