I’m not sure the comment about some being “pissed the fuck off” wasn’t what led to decision… Drew a philosophical line in the sand. IMHO

I'm not surprised. First formation at Air Assault, the head Instructor gigged my moustache for being outside of regs (it wasn't). Told me he wanted trimmed up just like his. He was clean shaven, of course.

SMSgt Bob W. - Of course I shaved it off. Butting heads with school cadre, especially Black Hats, in the 80's was not conducive to having a good experience in school. Or passing said school.
