Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin Nope, not watching. I don't have an interest in what those folks say. They hate Palestinians, obviously. How do we know they are not Egyptian Brotherhood traitors who want Gaza back, and to depopulate Gaza to go into business with Israel for the joint plans they have off the coast of Gaza?
They were wrong to attack even though agreed upon international law says an occupied people under attack by the occupying nation has right to defend themselves. Offense is the best defense according to some isn't it.
The context is the ongoing violation of an occupying nation against the people in territory it occupies who, instead, they are obligated to provide for and not harm. That violating has not only been cutting off utilities and preventing supplies and food from entering Gaza it has also been several genocidal attacks in the past 15 or so years.
Anyone who did not know the extent of the retaliation the October 7 attack invited, clearly intended what happened after 7 Oct. The people who attacked knew, like they always know their actions invite retaliation. The "leadership" lives somewhere else, as billionaires, and intentionally make cannon fodder of folks in Gaza.
The life of refugees - enemies living among them, and occupiers who publicly say they want to kill them, claiming justification become of some Biblical vendetta they are trying to recreated as a way to hide behind the skirts of a religion they try to blame for their unconscionable government policies. Refugees don't have the luxury of escaping either enemy, or of deciding which is worse.

"How do we know they are not Egyptian Brotherhood traitors who want Gaza back, and to depopulate Gaza to go into business with Israel for the joint plans they have off the coast of Gaza?" - Are you kidding? Hamas themselves admitted to committing this act. Hamas released much of the footage THEY recorded. Are you seriously going to claim this is a conspiracy?

"They were wrong to attack even though agreed upon international law says an occupied people under attack by the occupying nation has right to defend themselves. Offense is the best defense according to some isn't it." - You need to stop with "they were wrong," period, end of sentence. However, to address the rest of your rant, Israel is recognized nation by international law's standards and thus the Hamas terrorists are not defending themselves. You are also equating Hamas (those who committed the act) to represent the Palestinians in this quote. Which is it? Are they the leaders and representatives of the Palestinian people or are they traitors in league with the "Egyptian Brotherhood". Either way, they have no right to do what they did and for argument's sake if they did, why brutally target and rape, maul, and kill innocent men, women, and children? If you're going to invoke international law, that is precisely against international law and the rules of warfare.

You want an end to this? Then I suggest you support denouncing Hamas and their leadership of the Palestinians, encourage the Palestinians to agree to the established borders, and renounce any calls to end the state of Israel and the Jewish people. This is not a genocide. To say it is only demonstrates your ignorance of the word and its meaning.
