I Love Wine, I Used to be a 5K Runner but Combining Distance Running and Alcohol? Don't think I'd Recommend It, Having Said that, 21 Years in the Military, One of the PT Coordinators for COMSPAWARSYSCOM, I Think We've All "Been There, Done That".

Chip, like you I ran X Country in College and the Army, and not once did they offer wine at the Water Waypoints. I never drank alcohol. To many older Irish Brothers and Sisters, scared me off booze. But I know wine connoisseurs need a doggone encyclopedia to keep up with subtle variations. Running a four hour marathon, while tasting (and guessing) 25 vintages...amazing!
