Haven't watched the NBA since disrespecting the U.S. Flag and kneeling for the anthem. I've never even seen Lebron James play before and I coached basketball for over 20-yrs.

If no one comes to your restaurant, should you make as much money as the top restaurant in town?

CMSgt Marcus Falleaf - If the answer is yes, then can I open a restaurant and put those potential losses on my tax return? I'm paying way too much

Funny, I don't feel sorry for any of the professional athletes who are whining. They are suffering a whole lot less than the rest of America.

That’s not disrespect. Disrespect is using the flag to support false patriots like marge greene and the orange boy

And here's the funny thing - Caitlin still makes more than I do, to play a game. And when you figure in NIL and endorsements, she makes RADICALLY more than I do.
Now, before people go off about how she does things no one else can (or at least very few else can), I will 100% agree with no hesitation or reservation that Caitlin Clark - and all of the pros, in the WNBA, for that matter - can do things that I cannot.
But I also say with absolute honestly and 0 ego that I do things that Caitlin will not. That I possess skills and abilities honed through years of training and education that Clark will NEVER develop.
So the "she does things I can't" argument is pretty pointless.
I am in no way trying to claim any form of superiority, moral high ground, or any of that. Just pointing out that, while her pay, when compared to players in the NBA (most of which she could *not* compete with), is rather paltry; when it is compared to those of us in the "regular world," it is pretty damned good.
Oh yeah. Also, the WNBA season lasts from April 28 to October 20 - and then only for teams that go to the finals. So a MAXIMUM of 6 months. And yes, that includes training camp. So her salary is for HALF a year.
