The family of this high school buddy, Had a GTO, Pontiac Catalina, Pontiac Grand Prix this SD 455 T/A. They were all in 1968 to 1973 era. The guy was smart and a long haired rock and roll type of guy but i'm sure his insurance in 1980 was expensive Since insurance companies have started clapping down since the early 70s.

Very cool. I was never a Firebird, or Trans Am fan as I didnt like the body style.

Just like some people don't like the cougar. Instead of the Mustang, but I like the cougar better from Mercury and I like the transam just as much as I like the 1970 Z28. When I worked for Del Taco in 1979 I had a guy who worked for me who had a 4 speed 1970 Z28 and he burned rubber for about 30 m in first gear.
