Of course their efforts are being fought. You can't easily cheat when being watched.

From all I've seen, their efforts to shore up election security center on making it harder to vote.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - So... let me get this straight, once a party assumes a position, it is bound to that position for all time? Does that mean that the Democrats are still the party of slavery? Of course not!

You are still not addressing the question, how does the requirement to request a ballot unfairly target a demographic or favor one party over another?
_By signed writing (e.g., mail, fax, or scanned attachment to an email) to Supervisor of Elections,
_In person at Supervisor of Elections' office, or
_By phone to Supervisor of Elections

We've established that it is enough of an inconvenience to you personally that you find it objectionable. So objectionable that you don't care if an election is more secure or not. Problem is that the legislators and governor of your state, elected by Florida voters under the old rules, do not agree with you.

Maj John Bell I don't recall ever saying anything about targeting a demographic, that must have been you. Although elections vote in politicians into office the actual process of voting should be as far as possible away from politics. Laws determine who is or isn't eligible to vote, but after that the process of casting that vote should be as easy and convenient as possible, PERIOD.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - Not at the expense of election integrity PERIOD. People who find the new requirements overly burdensome and as a result don't vote are looking for an excuse.

I would have voted but...:
_I had to iron my cat.
_A really scary squirrel was between me and my car.
_Tuesdays are trash pickup days.
_I had to phone email the Supervisors of Electors Office and provide my:
Name, Date of birth, Address and last four digits of my social security number.

If people don't want to vote ANY excuse will do, but none is actually required.

When Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen talks about voting hurdles being created by election integrity, he's meaning only those instituted by conservative legislatures.
