Not everyone should have guns. I have family members who don't and shouldn't

I have one family member Myself that has serious mental health issues and I sure don't want Him to ever have access to Firearms. Also people with criminal history especially if it involves violence certainly should not have access or use of firearms. Both mental Health and failures in the Court systems and government to protect the rest of us from these criminals to include jail time has made problems that should not even exist. I'm not an anti gun person but there are people who should never be allowed to carry firearms who may well be a danger not only to themselves but others. I don't have a problem with people needing a permit and even safety training on how to handle firearms. Accidental shooting from either lack or training or unsafe storage of firearms is also a big concern. There is a big difference between laws and regulations to protect which are needed vs. efforts to seize rights from safe lawful gun owners.

The vast majority of gun owners in Central PA are quite responsible. However, criminals are not.
