This is so wrong on so many levels. Men and tanks are going to be dead because of no CAS that can loiter.

I've heard this was such an effective fighting machine Brother Dale. So now that they don't want to hurt any "civilians" in war, this would definitely be the place to start. I guess the higher-ups never heard of sympathizers before.

And yes, the AF is lying through its teeth. They know the A10 is the best thing for CAS, they also know the A10 is the most accurate for the job. The AF tried to bomb a Talban position in Afghanistan, and they killed the Mula of the Village in the process we never got that Village to trust us again while I was there. If they had used and A10 that would not have happened. I never saw an A10 in Iraq or Afghanistan hit civilians.
