McDonald’s testing new CosMc’s chain following an unprecedented global expansion

McDonald’s is planning a new fast-food chain called CosMc’s featuring customizable drinks and treats to appeal to afternoon snackers who now go to Dunkin’s or Starbucks, a slice of the market worth $100 billion annually.
The menu ranges from coffee and tea to frappes and slushies that can be customized with extra caffeine, kombucha, or a vitamin shot. It will also include breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and ice cream. The first CosMc test location will be in Bolingbrook, Illinois, near McDonald’s corporate headquarters. The company plans to open ten others in the Midwest next year to test the concept.

I noticed they listed ice cream...I wonder if they will manage a working machine?

Lt Col Charlie Brown LOL! My son used to work at one and the ice cream machine was on the fritz all the time.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I rarely go there any longer because the quality of their food has gone to total crap. 90% of the time the french fries are cold and the burgers generally are also. I don't see this being any better.

We haven't had that issue here locally but the coffee has been muddy so we tend to avoid them. I'd rather go to Chick-fil-a if I am doing fast food.

I rarely go to Mickey D's if I do its just to grab a quick breakfast item. I have not noticed a quality drop or cold food.
Also I do not buy Coffee anywhere, if I am going out and need more coffee than I have in my cup I take a Thermos from home. Before I retired I had my own pot at work and brewed fresh there and took it with Mr in my Thermos when I left the shop.
