During a CNN panel discussion on Donald Trump's twin rallies in Iowa on Saturday, former Trump White House official Alyssa Farah Griffin changed the subject from the former president's attacks on President Joe Biden to admit she was "stunned" by his delivery that lacked "sharpness.
Speaking with CNN "State of the Union" host Dana Bash, Farah Griffin agreed that Trump often uses projection to flip his faults onto others, but then turned to his demeanor as he spoke to the crowd.
After watching a clip of the former president in Iowa, she told the host, "It's kind of remarkable, I've been watching the clips from Trump's visit to Iowa and I'm stunned having spent a lot of time with him in 2020 and years before — he is slowing down."
"There's a lack of sharpness in what he's saying and a lack of kind of clarity," she elaborated. "There's clip where he basically says he's going to overturn Obamacare, but also says that he'll fix it — complete inconsistencies."
