I really find the 1948 Israel is created as an independent Jewish state, misleading. God gave the land of Israel to the Jews thousands of years ago.

Actually PO1 Lawrence in 1948 the UN created the Jewish State and a Palestinian State to formalize their status among the Nations of the World. Palestinians rejected the 2 state proposal.
