I've considered myself as one who has studied European history but there's so much to it that I'm not remembering the significance of King Frederick II of Prussia and his defeat of Austria. Need to do some brushing up. . . .

Correction John, Torgau was not his first, but it was the bloodiest battle of the Seven Years War.

Great share. I'll bet Frederick was happy to just be in pain after get his by spent canister. You ain't patching that hole up easily if it werent.
