Thanks Dale for the intresting read of the 3rd. infantry division. All of the Army divisions are just as imporntant as the others. The 5th. and the 101 Airborn have fancy logos and get a lot of attention.. Mine was the 5th. Mechanised infantry division our logo was just a simple red diamond patch but the 5th. served just as good as the others but with little fanfare. Good article on the 3rd division.

Yes, and the 5th ID had a proud WWI & WWII record as well.
