Court Finds Gun Ban on Illegal Drug Users is Unconstitutional

SGT (Join to see) - I would try the original Stanley Brothers product line called CHARLOTTE'S WEB. There is a famous Video Documentary about who Charlotte is and how they saved her life with CBD Oil. It's not cheap but you can get a discount at some of the Health Food Stores that carry it. It's a 60mg Plant-Based Cannabinoids per 1mL 3.38 fl oz (100mL) bottle I buy. Lasted me about 10-12 weeks a bottle. Oral drops and of course it's legal in all states. You don't get high from this BTW. Some People believe that but I also would recommend if you're a smoker Delta-8 in it's various forms to work with the CBD Oil. The 2018 Farm Bill made Delta-8 Legal and I know this is sometimes argued but there have been court cases in favor so there's That. Kentucky was the latest example but that's another thread!

I don't follow your logic here. It's been many, many years since I would have failed a drug screen for anything other than what the VA had prescribed for me, and I took my self off of the opioids to get my head clear. I live with the pain instead. MJ should be taken off of the Fed list of controlled substances, then regulated and taxed just like Alcohol, oh yeah I'm sober going on 6 years and don't want anything to drink either, so I'm not saying this because I want to run out and get high. I hate anything that affects my ability to think clearly. It has medical and recreational uses, and sometimes those uses overlap. If it's treated the same as drinking it won't be the basis for outlawing firearms.

SGT (Join to see) - My concern is that the case is built upon what existed at the writing and passing of the Bill of Rights. At that time they could not have foreseen semi auto weapons or fully automatic weapons let alone rifles capable for shots over 200 yards. It turns its back on a Living Document which is key to being able to own semi auto and full auto weapons. It cements the 2nd Amendment into the time frame of when it was written and passed thus modern guns and ammo would lose their protection under the 2nd.

Let's be honest. He told the cops he used the drug on a regular basis. Such an admission means if he bought the firearms after he started using Pot and filled out a form 4473 he would have been in violation of the law because he lied on the form.

Honestly I see the conviction being upheld.

SGT (Join to see) - The 2A was written to encompass the most modern firearms of the time, there were even Gatling style firearms at the time. It also covered Swords, Polearms, and Cannons. Arms does not just mean firearms. That section of the 4473 is moot with the current decision, as being unconstitutional. Just don't be walking around intoxicated and carrying, as it has been with alcohol for years. the best option is to keep your head clear.

SGT (Join to see) Sorry but lying on a federal forgive the 4473 is a federal felony. Nothing moot about that.
