Right idea.
RADICALLY wrong method.
He did the via EO, creating law for Americans. He does not have that authority and it is a blatant violation of the separation of powers clearly delineated in the Constitution.
Very tellingly, the EO declares an emergency in order to lay the foundation for this clear violation. Democrat Party authoritarians for the last few years have decided that they can declare an emergency and just do whatever the hell they want, Legislative branch be damned.
I do not disagree with the problem identified. I don't even necessarily disagree with the solution. But since that solution involves new law for all Americans, it MUST be done through Congress.
