ONGOING BORDER CRISIS: The House Judiciary Committee repeatedly pressed Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for basic data on Southern border deportations, Terror Watch List encounters, Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs), and those released into the United States via the administration’s parole pipeline, but Mayorkas seemed to stonewall on giving this information to the congresspeople.
Meanwhile on Twitter, the National immigration Center for Enforcement provided a chart with statistics and stated “that before Sec Mayorkas, ICE made between 226,000–410,000 removals every fiscal year going back to 2008 (whereas in) FY22, that number plummeted to a paltry 72,100…ICE enforcement statistics have PLUMMETED under Biden.
“Between FY 2018 and FY 2022, ICE arrests of illegal aliens have fallen 69% and arrests of aliens with criminal convictions have dropped 65%.” (See chart in article)
