How many people get jail time for keying a car? Seriously.
I know this is upsetting and at first blush it looks like he got over.
But keying a car is not usually a jail time offense. Maybe one day, which they give you back as time served while you were arrested and being questioned.
Now, I would have loved to see some community service or some punitive damages tacked on. But jail time is not realistic. Not unless he already has a long rap sheet, which he presumedly does not, or it would have been mentioned.
