Isn't it against the law to falsify legal documents? Kinda like getting a false ID at 16 so you can drink alcohol or something.

You were born male or female, that establishes the individual's gender. How that individual wishes to express his or her sexuality is their choice but does not change the equipment they had at birth. Changing a driver's license, no big deal, changing a birth certificate does not seem logical.
