You Are Being Scammed

"These rackets are becoming ever more sophisticated. Even very smart people fall for them. Indeed, it’s never a good idea to think you cannot be tricked, because it’s sometimes those very people who buy in and go the whole way. Believing that they can tell real from fake, they don’t turn back even when things get strange."

Very true. The narrower the focus on the targeted scam, the more likely someone will believe it. Scammers targeting large groups will have a low rate of success, but when it can be tailored with expectations of the target audience - then the rate of success goes up.

Unfortunately everyone has to have a high degree of skepticism for almost everything anymore.

I start with the premise that every call, every unsolicited email, or text is a scam. So far, so good.
