Spot on Colonel Chu! I spent the majority of my 22 years active service and the final ten years of my civilian career in foreign assignments. During my civilian career, I lived in Kazakhstan and Nigeria for five years in each location and in Nova Urengoy Siberia for a couple of months. I have also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. While in Nigeria, some of our school teachers from Canada suggested that Americans put Canadian Flags on their luggage and wear Canadian ball caps.. Thought was that Canadians are perceived in a far better light than Americans. Sad to say, but, it is true, We have built ourselves a reputation throughout the world as being Ugly Americans. Americans are typically seen as: Rude, Loud, Overbearing, Demanding, and Know it Alls... If this does not describe you, Thank You! If it does, you may want to consider cleaning your act up!
