Cancel culture has gone too far. Just like when take down the Columbus statue in Chicago and people hate Columbus but yet the Columbus coin was kept in the 20th century by mostly indigenous El Salvador and in the 1890s Chicago celebrated the Columbus exposition.
El Salvador used the term c o l o n as their currency until they switched over to the US dollar in the early 2000s.
So cancel culture needs to be stopped and they need to keep the memorial the way it is now.
