'Perzactly, Kim. So why does the AF keep trying to dump it? Easy, they'd rather be off doing AF things rather than support ground troops. . . .

Is it just me, or does both the AF & Navy always turn a aircraft into a "Bomb truck" right before they get rid of them, IE the Navy started loading up their F-14's with bombs (I heard one account that called them Bombcats) then what was it the F-15C or D that the AF did the same to and the nickname was the Beagle.

I think it's O.K. as long as it's still working. From what I've heard, it was quite a workhorse during the war. I've seen some insane videos of the Warthog working and like Puff, during Viet Nam, I'm so glad they were on our side.

A-10 jockeys used to love flying over Camp Casey when I was in Korea in '82 and show off their skill in aerobatics.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - Lucky you Brother Dale. We had to call in Puff one night and they showed off some of their tricks too. It looked like molten lava pouring down from the sky. Totally Awesome. And what was that, something like a round every square inch?
