It used to be playing chicken with the Soviets, I can attest to the fact it could get dicey, looks like it is going to get dicey with the Chinese too.

I was just a tad too young to fly SAC B-52 Chrome Dome missions but most of the senior folks in my squadron had. Listening to their stories of Soviet aircraft attempting to harass them over international air space was both entertaining and educational.
