Industry profits at cost of the most vulnerable - again - planning for another summer like last summer when people who have never needed A.C. are installing it -- if they can afford it Better for folks to go into debt for that necessity this year, than next
I support energy efficiency, minimizing pollution . . . all part of conservation of resources (including people!) like we were introduced to in elemen6ary school. However, too often "new energy efficiency standards" result in less effectiveness and more cost<sigh> Will it be the result of the new rules ?
At least they had the foresight to provide $8.8 billion in rebates in the August 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
