When I talk calmly about the CCP threat to us, the folks in my neighborhood treat me as a kindly old nutcase. They so much want to ignore the growing threat and just focus on getting high, listening to music and "hooking up". Both China and Russia have advanced lasers that can damage us badly, but the barest mention of China as threat and people bail out and leave the conversation. I surely hope I don't have to say "I told you so!" anytime soon, but I fear I will in not too long a time.
