Veterans Can Easily Obtain Nursing Licenses Under New State Law

This article does not really say much. Army 68C are already required to have a TX LPN license and for the USAF 4N051, it states they can apply for licensure. To the best of my knowledge 4N051 do not have a current license and would likely have to sit for the PNCLEX, often not an easy task. A lot of states like to right bills like this however implementation at the state board of nurse is often complicated. Other than TX licensed LVNs, I doubt anything here will be easy.

Just as the service branches seem to be, you can’t short staff and add technology and expect top results. As a nurse I saw what for profit hospitals did to the healthcare workers. After my service in the USAF, I took the step and went back to nursing school and got my BSN, worked in almost every capacity. It’s a huge step but the world needs to focus on patient care again. Bonus, charts on on military time!
