Well, well, well, someone finally making sense about the hodge podge armor donations. A company of this and 2 company's of that makes about as much sense as a butter knife in a duel. Leo 1s for heavens sake ! Give me a break ! That thing was obsolete in the late 60s, it's armor was terrible and would be a death trap today, although I disagree about the ammo shortage. We still make 105mm ammo for other countries. And the latest 105mm stuff is good, very good, almost on par with standard 120mm rounds.

One thing I haven't heard mentioned yet, the M1 Abrams has an export model. It lacks many of the secret, and some of the advanced, features of US Army operated M1 tanks.

With Russia still considered a "near peer" I would think the United States is not going to send our most advanced M1s into a possible capture situation with Russian forces.
