This Day in History: Eugene Fluckey & his daring submarine attack

Great exploits and one of my former boss' (who was obviously a Navy submariner) heroes. Retired as a rear admiral and was a MOH recipient and multiple Navy Crosses for his time on the USS Barb.

The one my boss mentioned was that he was the only one to invaded Japan during WWII.

Amazing story

Eugene Flukey obviously had a lot of guts to what he acomplished. We have and need more men with his courage and daring.
