Unsettled: Climate and Science | Dr. Steven Koonin | EP 323

Too many people are living in terror and voting based on fears induced by politicians promising to have the solutions to that terror. Climate change is a wonderful example. Although I am not a climatologist (few are), I know enough to be able to distinguish between weather and climate, and understand that climate is the product of massive and chaotic forces that few understand (certainly no politicians that I've listened to). Unfortunately, once the discussion of climate entered the political/ideological arena, I stopped having any chance of engaging in rational discussion on the subject. Thus, I offer this link for any and all interested in discovering what I already understand but fail to explain in several other posts here and on other social media. Of course, Jordan Peterson is well known and many will dismiss this video because of his involvement. Sadly, they will remain ignorant of the fact that he is merely the interlocutor in this video. The real science is presented by a well respected physicist and climatologist. Yes, it's long, more than an hour. However, real knowledge doesn't come easily...
