Is this what we are going to see for the next 2 years? Inter-party squabbling? If so, they will get nothing done and in 2024 be looking for work.

Democracy at work. Remember, those hardcore publicans are upset and they believe that McCarthy sold them out to the democrats. The new agenda will include a 72-hour window to read the the 4000 page Bill unlike Nancy Pelosi who would say both of the bill and then find out what's in it !!
Even 72 hours would be difficult to have a bunch of staffers break down and speed read 40 or 50 pages to find hidden pork or objections.
Many Republicans cannot stomach Mitch McConnell being at a ceremony with President Biden over the infrastructure bill that is not really infrastructure but more pork for Democrats.
Also, most of the Republicans who voted for the bill just retired. I believe only one Republican in the House of Representatives is still in. You may call it Fox News propaganda but I listen to these shows done live and many Republicans on both sides of this speaker issue speak on this show.
