The problem isn't the food if it is fresh...fast food yes, that is a problem as when we are tired, or on the way to a ball game or cheer event or recital or practice we stop and "grab something quick", the problem with health is we are a lazy want it now generation. My grandparents on both sides lived to be well into their late 90's...and so did thier parents...know why, they ate red meat (beef, chicken, lamb, pork, fish from the creek or pond, squirrel, possum, racoon etc with biscuits, rolls, cornbread gravy and fresh vegetables) but it was all fresh and seasoned with fresh ingredients...no preservatives...know what else, they worked all day and worked it off. My wife and I started somewhat following their diet about two years ago...our health improved from mental heath and fitness to physical health and fitness and we exercise instead of sitting in front of a tv or a game boy or IPAD. Red meat is not bad for you...we are at the top of the food chain for a reason.

1 Timothy 4: 1-5 - The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

1 Corinthians 10: 25-31 - Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, 26 for, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it." 27 If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, both for the sake of the one who told you and for the sake of conscience. 29 I am referring to the other person’s conscience, not yours. For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience? 30 If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? 31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Greetings,
Yes, I am sure the clinicians and scientists below and those who have written other peer-reviewed studies would be in awe of their “shoddy research” to ensure consumers have an opportunity to have an educated decision on the purchases for their family’s health and wellness. Also, if one were to follow the money, this is where the fun begins. It is the same with the dairy industry knocking the Vegan options in the grocery store. Individuals should investigate where their food comes from to see what abuse is linked with Big AG. Just my two cents.
