The Marine Corps is about uniformity. I do not like the exceptions for turbans and beards.

Personally, it doesn't bother me. That being said, there is some credit to what an old friend of mine said when he stated "If there are exceptions to policies...then why have policies"

Capt Gregory Prickett - It has nothing to do with freedom of religion. it has to do with uniformity and order. Do you want the sacrifice of animals in the name of religion?
