As World War II veterans fade, we continue to owe them a debt of gratitude for the sacrifices they made in service and the work of many to make this country a better place when they returned. As the piece below notes, it is important "to look back at who these men and women were and the indelible mark they left on the nation's history."

I am fortunate to have met a number on honor flights here to DC as well as some in both the Marine and Army museums.

Coming back from training flying back to canada, I saw at least one Honor Flight with most of the veterans being pushed in wheelchairs by active duty. I was a rebel and wore my uniform while traveling and the veterans were happy to see me in the terminal. This was about 18 2019 that I would see these veterans flying back on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I witness this at Seattle-Tacoma airport.
