I had a single barrel break action when I was around 10 years old. My son had a "Judge" handgun which was pretty interesting.

I like the article. It’s the same argument as a 22LR for personal defense. If it’s all you have or if it’s all you have that you can hit the target with, I’m not knocking either.
I have seen what a 22LR can do inside the abdominal and thoracic cavities. It ain’t pretty and often you don’t survive it.
