impressive even if it was viable, can you see a pilot trying to hook a bar to land back with the bomber crazy

I have seen a video of the tests and one jet was damaged. In the second it was able to hook up, but man it looked like the pilot needed to have a change of shorts in the cockpit with him.

At least they found a place in a museum so we can shake our heads in amusement. Wonder if a museum will take all the dead end projects crammed into my shop's rafters?
