What does Kansas City share with Hannover, Germany? The ‘international language’ of jazz

The Germans love jazz and most kinds of music.

I found a lot of Europeans enjoy jazz. I was stationed in The Netherlands and had the opportunity to work on the Canadian Forces Network radio station in Brunssum. My show was Just Jazz every Wednesday evening from 9-11. I had fun but was surprised at the number of my Dutch neighbors who tuned in. I also had the opportunity to go to the North Sea Jazz Festival when it was in Den Haag.
