Do junior high and high schools have shop classes anymore? Why the big push for sending kids to college when they don't even know what they want to do? So many people think it's a damn sin to work with your hands.

As my daughter applied recently there is a rather large number of schools that have either suspended test scores or have made submitting scores optional.
In lieu of test score interviews and essays are now being used in the application process.
A few schools as well don't even have a minimum GPA.
Haverford, one of the top liberal art colleges in the us, is one example.
