Thank you for this information. As a white guy learning stuff from Canada and living in Canada, I knew that both sides claim the War of 1812 was a victory for both of them. It's good to know about this Mohawk woman. I also didn't know it was that the reason Washington DC White House was torched because the Americans had torched a government building in Ontario a year before. So it was payback for American treachery even though American historians try to frame it as the British being bastards. It was just an eye for an eye.

Canada has been good for me but the lines are blurring because the police car is here in Edmonton are now black and white. They didn't used to be that way. We also have Carl's Jr. Here we would say Constable instead of police officer but if you said either it would be okay. They use the word Barrister for attorney. I blend in okay with the Canadians.

PVT (Join to see) not sure if you are related to the Mohawk lady and I'm not trying to outdo you but since you brought up some important historical aspects of indigenous leadership during the Revolutionary war, I wanted to show you a sort of Secret Story of my wife's great great grandfather who was the nu

#2 sniper of Canada in World War I.

He killed at least 115 Germans before he was killed himself by a countersniper team. I am actually in this video in the dress blues. It was cold as heck on November 11th probably about 20°F and my dress blues were not very warm. My wife, kids and family members were there. The Uncle dressed a chief was a counselor for the Samson Cree Nation in the past.

LTC (Join to see) - That is really cool. I have been to Ft. Mcmurry and the oil sands a whole different world up there. I think it was in 1975. I don't know much about Canada other than my grandmother's story and her brother. Yes, I am a direct descendant of Her's.

LTC (Join to see) - I have other Native American historians with the CODE talkers. This isn't about outdoing anyone, it's about our history and honor of those who were involved.
