Having toured most of the Smithsonian I am glad to hear about this, they can maintain and even expand some. It is a fascinating place to visit but be prepared it is HUGE.

And the annex to it out at Dulles Airport makes it much larger but apparently they still have much more to display

It is worth the trip, believe me. You can spend a week just in Smithsonian museums and not see everything. And it is all FREE.
