I have flown on a C-130 twice, sorry to say neither had weapons aboard.

Maj Robert Thornton - I rode on a C-5A Galaxy two times in the 70's, going over seas.
That plane seating was up near or in the tail section, and you sat backwards. We were stuck in Wake island for three days, due to the plane had hydraulic problems.
Wake island was flat, with one bar, and a bunch of contractor personnel on it. Free box meal while staying at the barracks.

Let's see how it measures up to the old 102. Big shoes to fill.
