Secondly; hiring Polar to investigate SAA activities before, during and after the Jan 6th attacks on Congress is wrong. However, for Polar to assign the husband of the Deputy SAA to investigate the activities in the Office of the SAA on Jan 6th, 2021 clearly confirms that there was intent to perhaps sabotage the investigation. There is definitely a Conflict of Interest, but what is the intent of committing such a conflict in such a high profile investigation? Without comments, there is surely a need to investigate who contracted Polar; why was the husband of the Deputy SAA assigned, if Polar was aware and, if Polar claims ignorance then, why was a background check not done on the Consultant Brian Young prior to commencement of work? This conflict of interest appears to be an attempt to botch the investigation into the role of the SAA to gather intelligence and use the relevant information to deter, defend and protect Capitol Hill and congressional leaders. Something isn't right.
