Even before PACT, I got 10% fromt he VA for hypertension. That may because I already had 30% for Ischemic Heart Disease though. Initially, it was rated, but only at 0% until I had a "Hypertensive Crisis" where the BP was over 200+/100+ and I was admitted for potential stroke.

SFC William Farrell - thanks - doing well ... they put me on a new BP med and it worked great alhtough since, they've doubled the dose. I've had no real problems with the VA - except they denied a claim for neuropathy under their rule that it has to manifest within a year of exposure. I wonder how they handle Korean guys (MP's) who were on the DMZ where it was used as they're now presumptive as well. I have an appeal pending as their own Appeals system, AND the U.S. District Court has ruled against them several times. One of those issues you have to challenge them on.
