SGT (Join to see) - You asked me a question regarding the tags on your question, BLM is one of them. I gave you my response that I was following it. It's a topic I follow because I don't agree with the values the group tries to put forth.
I'm not speaking against your thread. I'm commenting on the post you made. To reiterate, I don't care about the color of a person who owns a business. I buy products from stores that have what I want at a reasonable price. If a "black-owned" business was selling widgets for one price, and a "white-owned" business down the street was selling the same widgets for a lower price, I'd buy from the "black-owned" business, and visa-versa. Focusing on the skin color of who owns the place, to me, is racist thinking.
And in your post you even hint, "You're a white supremacist, and and that's not cool" if I don't "support black-owned businesses." And I think that's an awfully racist thing to say to people who you're trying to get support form.
What "why" are you referring to from my original post?

Sgt (Join to see) - I think there are some grammar mistakes in your response that drastically change your answer.
Also, don't dismiss that blue blurb at the top of that post that states:
"I'm only targeting Blacks in this post. If you're not Black, even by the one percent rule, I'm not talking to you right now."
You don't seem to have much depth to your stance other than:
"I went out of my way to say 'nobody should care' who owns a business because I oppose 'BLM'"
So I'll leave it at that and recommend you reread what I said above and in my post about BLM.

SGT (Join to see) - You are right.... in my example of widgets, I'd buy from the store with the lower price, irregardless of the skin color of the owner. My mistake, but my point stands. Skin color is irrelevant.
What is a 1% black? Or a 2%% Or 12%? Either way, didn't you also suggest that one should "read on" for a different perspective?
I went out of my to way to say nobody should care because you've posted on a site where one expects to get comments. That's the way this works. And you're wrong in your assertion that I'm saying no one should care "because I oppose BLM." One has nothing to do with the other. You're making it so there is no distinction between a "black-owned" business and BLM.
If you disagree with my points, that's why we're here, to have those conversations. Repeating what's been said or read is meaningless.
BTW, I've even read the "rant" you link to. I believe you have one or two valid points on some things, but most of it I completely disagree with. Just sayin'.

Sgt (Join to see) - Maybe I should've said "I went out of my way to say 'nobody should care' who owns a business" and "I oppose 'BLM' (as I define it)" separately.
This thread has made my points. Thanks and take care.
