Thank you for sharing this article! It hits home for many reasons. The best one, my nephew, who is a young 30 something, watched the movie in an Alabama middle school. It inspired him to join the debate club in high school, where he excelled, and then later into law school. Today, he is a fine public defender with aspirations of being a judge. He turned down other more lucrative offers to defend folks who otherwise wouldn’t be able to defend themselves. I am so proud of him, words can’t explain it. He is our future. He even named his first born Atticus.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel excellent share. My wife and I watch the movie at least once a year. After having seen it for more years than I want to admit I still see some details I don't remember from the last time I viewed it.
