A "no comment" answer is never a good thing. There's be more respect for that loser if he came straight out and said he supports slavery. Be a man!!! Stand up for what you believe in!!!

Seems like a pretty simple question. I could answer it without thought

No surprise here. There are some racist that at least have the courage of their convictions to openly admit it, but, IMO, racism is prevalent among many, many whites, but they do not have the courage to publicly admit it. They try to hide it, but so often it is still visible.

(and now I await the standard "whatabout" reply)

SFC Casey O'Mally - Thank you for your well thought-out opinion. I especially like the disclaimer at the start. I do question your percentages, but your disclaimer covered that so we are cool.
I would add one comment. You wrote: " these Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) have decided it is.".

I would agree, but change that to: SOME of these Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) have decided it is.
I am a proud Social Justice Warrior and have been my entire life, but I don't quite fit that line.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I would like to think most are on the side of social justice. With some of the comments by RP members, it can be discouraging how some would rather stand against social justice or at least make pathetic arguments against it.

1SG (Join to see) - What is discouraging to me is I think many chose to either ignore it, deny it, or don't understand the concept.

MSG Stan Hutchison RE: SOME of these SJWs.....

I was referencing specifically the SJWs who find racism when none exists. That is who the "these" referenced. If I was ambiguous in my pronouns, I sincerely apologize.

MSG Stan Hutchison (I would also tag the good 1SG here, but he has me blocked.)

Re: SJWs and opposition. I think a large part of this has to do with what one considers Social Justice. There are many folks who VEHEMENTLY believe that some current Americans are owed reparations for things that happened to their ancestors. They see the inarguable INJUSTICE that was done, and are seeking to address this injustice in the best way they can. There is definitely logic in this idea, and I can fully understand how one can view this as not even just, but at least CLOSER to just than we were. There are ALSO folks who VEHEMENTLY believe that taking from me for something my ancestors may or may not have done and giving to someone else for something that may or may not have happened to THEIR ancestors (odds are, yes, it happened, but most advocates of reparations require no proof and assume everyone in a specific group qualifies) is a gross injustice to people living NOW. And there is ALSO a definitely logic in this idea, and I can fully understand how they feel that punishing them for the sins of their fathers is unjust.

Both of these views are at absolute loggerheads with each other, and both view themselves as absolutely fighting for social justice.

I tried VERY hard to write that as neutrally as I could. I have a viewpoint, but I am trying to keep it out of the discussion, because I think my opinion is irrelevant to the topic.
