War in Ukraine: The U.S. will send diplomats back to Kyiv in a new signal of Western support

U.S. embassy staff will start making day trips this week into western Ukraine from their current base in Poland for the first time since Russia invaded. Also, residents are leaving the southern port city of Odesa after a Russian missile strike killed at least eight people.
